Job Summary
Join a leading electronics manufacturing company and play a key role in driving process excellence, continuous improvement, and new product introduction (NPI). You will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimise production processes, enhance operational efficiency, and support high-quality manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support process engineering activities to ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing operations.
Develop, review, and optimise production processes to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish process flows that meet operational and customer requirements.
Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by ensuring successful process implementation into production.
Coordinate Engineering Change Orders (ECO) and Engineering Change (EC) activities to ensure smooth execution.
Prepare, review, and maintain production work instructions and process documentation.
Monitor manufacturing performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives, including Kaizen and productivity enhancement projects.
Analyse production issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Provide technical guidance and training to production personnel on manufacturing processes and work instructions.
Support ISO compliance activities and maintain process documentation according to quality standards.
Requirements
Higher Nitec, Diploma, or Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
At least 3 years of experience in process engineering within an Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) or contract manufacturing environment.
Experience supporting manufacturing equipment or equipment engineering will be an advantage.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
Able to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
