Procurement Engineer (OEM & Hardware)

- Manage component sourcing on OEM & Hardware Commodities

- Overall ownership to drive cost reduction and value creation initiatives through negotiations, alternate sourcing, localizations, VAVE, supplier consolidations

- Establish wide supplier network to facilitate both Sourcing and Procurement activities,  leading strategic relationship with critical suppliers

- Identify redesign cost reduction opportunities

- Drive component lead time improvement, Payment terms, delivery terms, MOQ/SPQ reduction and Optimizations

-Develop and maintain strategic supplier relationships to meet quality, cost, delivery and capacity requirement

- Collaborate closely with Engineering, operations and product team, plan & drive execution of all Procurement & Sourcing activities.

- Monitor global market trend and implement proactive risk mitigation and contingency Strategies on EOL, Single source parts

- Interface with Engineering on design review/ECN/Part changes & provide resolutions on all technical issues.

- AOS Management during build phase and initial production phase

Requirements:

-Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Supply Chain / Business admin

-Possess good experience in handing OEM & Hardware commodity

-Min 5 -7 years of relevant work experience in Sourcing field

-Good communication and interpersonal skills, good team player

-Able to start work within short notice period will be an added advantage
