Procurement Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the onboarding of new suppliers, including supplier sourcing, screening, and evaluation, to build a competitive and effective supplier resource pool.

• Responsible for price negotiation of semiconductor and optical equipment materials, including negotiation with key suppliers on production capacity and delivery schedules, ensuring procurement cost optimization and stable supply.
• Based on project progress requirements, carry out material development, sourcing, validation, inquiries, and price comparisons to ensure procurement milestones are achieved as planned.
• Establish and maintain supplier information databases and continuously monitor supplier development trends.
• Conduct supplier risk identification and management to reduce supply chain risks and ensure supply security.

Qualifications& Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above, with long-term legal working eligibility in Singapore;
• Mandarin capability will be beneficial for managing supplier discussions, technical documentation, and regional collaboration
• 1–3 years of procurement experience, preferably in standard mechanical/equipment materials sourcing, with Singapore or Malaysia regional exposure;
• Educational background in Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related fields preferred;
• Strong communication and coordination skills, project management experience preferred, and adaptability to Singapore and Malaysia business travel.
