Product Engineer

Job Objectives

• Provides necessary definition, development and deployment of product test strategy, addressing all phases of DenseLight R&D & manufacturing operation to meet customer requirements.
• To develop test methods and capabilities align to company’s technology and product roadmap that meets in-house manufacturing capabilities and outsource.
• Analyse data to ensure highest performance of products.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Involved in design and development of embedded and fiber optics sensing systems, and data communication IC’s hardware and software implementation to prototype functional testing.
• Data compilation and analysis, reporting and documentation.
• Involved in testing of photonicss devices and/or optical sensors.
• Participates in the development and implementation of new products or product changes by creating product specifications, quality specifications, quality plans, risk analyses, FMEAs in conjunction with other product development team members.
• Runs complex problemsolving efforts and mentors others on best practices. e.g. FMEA, Control Plan, Test plan, quality tools and DOE. e.g. Leads/coordinates CA of failures using a structured approach.
• Owner of product specification and performance to those specifications.

Minimum Education

· Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor or Master in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics/Computer/Optics)

Minimum Experience

· 1 – 2 years working experience preferably in the semiconductor/component manufacturing industry background (with or without experience are welcome to apply)

· Fresh grduates are welcome to apply

Specific Knowledge / Skills

· Software knowledge of MS Office, JMP, PDF/Spot-fire is a plus

· Excellent inter-personal and communication skills, both written and oral.

· Possess the ability to work independently, self-motivated, initiative and deliver tasks on time.

· Must be team oriented, positive working attitude, able to multi-tasks in a fast pace environment and work with personnel at all level.
