Production Engineer (Chemical) @Tuas

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily production processes to meet quality and output targets.
• Troubleshoot and resolve process deviations and cover absence of operators
• Optimize workflows to improve operational efficiency and reduce waste.
• Participate in production operations, including equipmentsetup, operation, and maintenance.
• Inspections, calibration, and adjustments on machinery and equipment.
• Operate production machinery and ensure processes run smoothly when operatorsare unavailable.
• Monitor production parameters and adjust settings to maintain product qualityand efficiency.
• Document production activities, issues encountered, and corrective actionstaken.
• Collect and analyze production data to identify trends and areas forimprovement.
• Prepare daily and weekly production performance reports.
• Ensure accurate recording of production metrics.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
• Identify recurring issues and recommend long-term solutions.
• Adhere to all safety, health, and environmental regulations during productionactivities.
• Ensure safe operation of equipment and maintain a clean and organized workenvironment.
• Communicate effectively with quality control, maintenance, and logistics teams.
• Support training programs for operators to enhance their operational skills.
• Propose innovative ideas for cost savings and productivity improvements.

Requirements:

• Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience / manufacturing environment ispreferred
• Experience in the adhesive, paint, and chemical industry is preferred
