Production Operator (Inspection and Warehousing)

Core Responsibilities

·     Carry out material handling duties(unpacking, packing, moving and cutting)

·     Inspect incoming raw materials and machined components

·     Measure parts against engineering drawings and dimensional tolerances

·     Operate pin-stamping equipment for component identification

·     Prepare goods received note and inspection reports

·     Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse and work area

Opportunities to Expand Your Skills

High-performing team members may be trained to:

·     Operate automatic TIG welding equipment

·     Perform basic maintenance on workshop equipment such as:

·        Bandsaw machines

·        Air compressors

·        Forklifts

Candidate’s Requirements

·     NiTEC | Certificate (or equivalent) or ASNT | PCN in an NDT discipline

·     Comfortable with hands-on technical work

·     Able to read and understand engineering drawings and dimensional specifications

·     Familiar with measuring instruments such as:

·        Micrometers

·        Vernier calipers

·        Thread gauges

·     Experience with XRF PMI equipment is welcome (training will be provided)

Bonus Skills (Advantageous but Not Required)

The following optional skills or work experience would be an advantage

·     ASNT or PCN qualification in dye-pen or other NDT

·     Knowledge of piping components or industrial materials

·     Forklift or Class 3 driving licence
