Production Supervisor (Chemical)

• Permanent position, Salary up to $3,500
• Working location at Jurong island
• Normal working hour, open to work on 12 hours rotating shift if needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily production support activities to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.
• Manage production schedules, raw material availability, packaging, and inventory to support uninterrupted manufacturing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet operational and business objectives.
• Monitor production performance, inventory levels, and resource utilisation, while identifying opportunities to improve productivity and operational efficiency.
• Lead and supervise technicians and contractors, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and operational procedures.
• Perform SAP transactions, maintain accurate operational records, and prepare production, inventory, and performance reports.
• Drive troubleshooting, root cause analysis, continuous improvement, automation, and digitalisation initiatives to optimise plant performance.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards, Safety Management Systems, environmental regulations, and statutory requirements.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in manufacturing, chemical, or process plant operations.
• Good understanding of production planning, inventory management, process operations, workplace safety, and SAP or other ERP systems.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, resourceful, and committed to continuous improvement, operational excellence, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
• Willing to work rotating shifts (AM/PM), including weekends and public holidays when operationally required.
