Project Coordinator

Job Summary

The ACMV Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and supporting the execution of Air Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation (ACMV) projects. The role involves project planning, site coordination, documentation management, scheduling, procurement support, and liaising with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and authorities to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate ACMV installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance projects.
• Assist Project Manager in project planning, scheduling, and execution.
• Monitor project progress and ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Prepare and submit project documentation, shop drawings, material submissions, method statements, risk assessments, and work permits.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Arrange material procurement, delivery schedules, and inventory tracking.
• Attend site meetings and prepare meeting minutes.
• Monitor manpower allocation and site productivity.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety and health regulations.
• Assist in project cost control and variation order documentation.
• Track project milestones and prepare progress reports.
• Support testing, commissioning, and project handover activities.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in ACMV/HVAC project coordination.
• Knowledge of ACMV systems, chilled water piping, ductwork, FCU, AHU, and ventilation systems.
• Familiarity with Singapore construction and safety regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines.
• Possess strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
