Project Engineer

Job Summary:

The Project Engineer will support robotics operations by performing system setup, testing, maintenance, and technical troubleshooting. This role involves coordinating with stakeholders, conducting training, and ensuring smooth deployment of autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) and automated guided vehicles (AGVs). The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in hardware/software systems, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Perform route mapping and navigation testing for robotic systems.

·      Assist in server setup and peripheral configuration for robot operations.

·      Execute hardware and system upgrades/modifications as required.

·      Provide Tier 3 technical support(software/system-level issues) to the Service Team.

·      Conduct training sessions for Product Operators and Service Teams on system operations and basic troubleshooting.

·      Coordinate with stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and timely progress updates.

·      Escalate complex technical issues to higher-levelsupport when necessary.

·      Prepare and submit operations documentation (reports, manuals, etc.).

·      Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Robotics Operations Team.

·      Knowledge in construction experience for site-specificinstallations.

Requirements:

·      Education: Bachelor’s/associate’s degree inmechanical/electrical/computer engineering or related field.

·      Experience: Minimum 2 years in robotics, automation, or a related technical field.

·      Technical Expertise:

-    Strong knowledge of AMRs/AGVs and robotic navigation systems.

-    Proficiency in mechanical/electrical hardware installation, setup, and troubleshooting.

-    Familiarity with system/network installation and diagnostics.

-    Experience with AutoCAD, Elco CAD, or similardesign/planning software.

-    Basic knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu) and software debugging (preferred).

-    Ability to interpret mechanical/electrical schematics and technical documentation.

Skills &Qualifications:

·      Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

·      Ability to work independently and under pressure.

·      Excellent communication (both written and verbal).

·      Computer Proficiency: MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

·      Willing to travel locally on short notice.

·      Comfortable working overtime when required.

·      Open to overseas deployment as needed.
