Project Engineer

Basic Information:

  DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee mechanical and electrical (M&E) engineering works for building services projects from design through contract administration.
• Prepare tender documentation, including technical specifications, and review engineering and construction drawings for accuracy and compliance.
• Evaluate tender submissions and compile comprehensive tender evaluation reports with technical recommendations.
• Attend technical discussions, coordination meetings, and project progress meetings with clients, architects, consultants, and contractors.
• Supervise project execution, conduct site inspections, and identify non-compliance or quality issues in contractors' work to ensure adherence to project specifications and standards.
• Carry out other ad hoc duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 1/3/5 years of relevant experience in mechanical and electrical (M&E) engineering, depending on the position level.
• Prior experience in an M&E consultancy environment will be an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of M&E system design, building services, and relevant Singapore codes of practice and regulations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or BIM software is advantageous.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently, proactively, and take initiative.
• Proven involvement in residential, commercial, industrial, institutional, and recreational building projects is preferred.
• Eligibility for registration with the Professional Engineers Board (PEB), Singapore, will be an added advantage.
• Fresh graduates or candidates without relevant experience but with strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
