Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provides training and hands-on technical assistance to customers and reseller.
- Project co-ordination
- Assists with the configuration of PBX, call flows, user profiles and call management features where appropriate.
- Updates System Requirement Document where appropriate.
- Validates System Design Document meets with customer requirements.
- Conducts systems tests, routing of calls and troubleshooting.
- Helpdesk and remote support.
- Network topologies (e.g. VLAN's, CDP, LLDP, VRRP), firewall configurations.
- Actively maintaining knowledge of Telecommunications, UC, Contact Center, VoIP technologies and industry trends.
- Telecoms Customer Service Experience
- Helpdesk support experience.
- Knowledge of Converged Networks.
- Fault management
Qualifications:
- ITE or equivalent
- Experienced in deploying communication systems is preferred
- Experience in configuring and supporting VoIP Systems, routers, troubleshooting LAN/VoIP systems is preferred.
- Working knowledge of telephony, PBX, SIP 'Trunking' and UC technology is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong planning and organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills demonstrated in a customer facing environment,
- Advanced communication skills - written and verbal including the ability to prepare documents, procedures, templates and presentations.
- Ability to manage key internal and external relationships
- Self-starter
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- The ability to work under pressure
- The ability to work unsupervised
- Class 3 diving license is preferred.
