About the Role

As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, programming, testing, and commissioning PLC based control systems for complex industrial projects. You will work closely with customers and internal project teams throughout the project lifecycle, from engineering design and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) to site commissioning and process troubleshooting. This role offers regional exposure with opportunities to travel across the Asia Pacific to support project execution.

About the Candidate

The ideal candidate is an engineering professional with hands-on experience in PLC programming and industrial control systems within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refining, or Power Generation sectors. You have strong technical knowledge, enjoy solving complex engineering challenges, and are confident working directly with customers throughout project delivery. You are proactive, detail-oriented, and willing to travel to support project commissioning and site activities.

Summary of Key Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 1 year of experience in PLC based control system design and programming.
• Experience within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refining, or Power Generation industries.
• Proficient in PLC programming using IEC 61131 languages and familiar with Microsoft Outlook, Project, Excel, and Visio.
• Knowledge of turbomachinery control systems including gas turbines, steam turbines, VFDs, generators, AVRs, surge protection, and vibration monitoring.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs and Bently Nevada systems is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Willingness to travel across the Asia Pacific region for project commissioning and customer support.
