Project Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Co-ordinate with the respective parties including main contractor, sub-contractor, suppliers for timely planning, scheduling & delivery, installation (if any) of the precast components.
2. Co-ordinate with internal departments such as production, design and mould department for the planning and scheduling of the precast component production.
3. Resolve project issues such as quality, site issues (pertaining to our product), project schedule, clients / project requirements, contractual liabilities, etc.
4. Good understanding of the contract and strong control of the project cost which is vital to the well-being of the company.
5. Attend site meeting and ensure that client’s feedback is effectively incorporated.
6. Take progressive photos of project’s status & issues and prepare for reports and updates to Management
7. Manage logistics and schedules for delivery of finished products to clients.
8. Manage, control and order of raw materials for project.
9. Create project database.
10. Study drawings and prepare mould grouping as per project schedule within project cost.
11. Prepare timely monthly progress claims to clients and verify monthly progress claims submitted by sub-contractors.
12. Ensure main contractor’s payment response is received on time and reconciled.
13. Co-ordinate with Contracts department with issues relating to cost, variations etc
14. Co-ordinate with Accounts department information required on progress claim, payment response and reports.
15. Prepare project final accounts with proper documentations.
16. Keep the project related correspondences and records in orderly manner.
