The Project Engineer (ACMV) will assist the Project Manager in overseeing day-to-day site progress, coordinating resources, and monitoring schedules to ensure successful project delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
Project & Site Coordination:
Coordinate daily site execution with main contractors, sub-contractors, and internal engineering teams.
Allocate field resources efficiently and submit regular daily work progress and manpower forecast reports.
Monitor, request, and track equipment and material deliveries to match project timelines.
Technical & Design Support:
Prepare detailed engineering designs and developments for the assigned ACMV/HVAC systems.
Prepare, submit, and secure timely approvals for Method Statements (MOS), Risk Assessments (RA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP), shop drawings, materials, and Requests for Information (RFI).
Perform actual hands-on testing, balancing, and commissioning (T&C), as well as basic system troubleshooting.
Meeting & Documentation Management:
Attend technical, site progress, and Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) coordination meetings.
Prepare, plan, and execute site inspection requests with main contractors or Resident Technical Officers (RTO).
Compile Operation & Maintenance Manuals (OMM), As-Built drawings, and organize client training and Defect Liability Period (DLP) programs.
Education: ITE, Diploma, or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent field.
Experience:
Prior practical experience in project management handling ACMV/HVAC projects for commercial or industrial building applications.
Note: Competent fresh graduates with strong foundational knowledge are also considered adaptively.
Technical Skills:
Strong technical understanding of ACMV/HVAC systems, air-conditioning principles, and engineering blueprints.
Solid working knowledge and strict adherence to Singapore WSH/ESH standards and building regulations.
Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving capabilities, clear communication skills, strong team player mindset, and the ability to work under pressure to hit tight deadlines.
