Project Engineer (Industrial Systems & Safety)

Responsibilities

• Support planning, execution, and coordination of industrial engineering and system installation projects.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders on project deliverables and schedules.
• Monitor project progress, prepare status reports, and assist in resolving technical issues during project execution.
• Support equipment installation, FAT, SAT, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Participate in site inspections and ensure compliance with project specifications and safety requirements.

• Provide technical engineering support for industrial systems, utilities, and operational equipment.
• Assist in troubleshooting operational issues and implementing effective corrective actions.
• Support process improvement and operational optimization initiatives.
• Prepare and review engineering documentation, SOPs, technical reports, method statements, and work procedures.
• Assist in system performance monitoring and preventive maintenance coordination.

• Participate in risk assessments, HAZOP reviews, safety inspections, and incident investigations.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety, environmental, and operational regulations.
• Support implementation of SHE policies and operational safety procedures.
• Identify critical safety concerns and recommend mitigation measures.
• Assist in maintaining project and operational documentation in accordance with company and regulatory standards.

• Support preparation and updating of engineering drawings, PFDs, P&IDs, layouts, and as-built documentation.
• Coordinate technical document control and revision management.
• Assist in material take-offs, BOM preparation, and engineering data compilation.
• Support AutoCAD and Navisworks review activities where required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or related engineering discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering, project coordination, operations, or industrial systems experience.
• Experience in industrial projects, utilities systems, process operations, or engineering support environments.
• Exposure to commissioning, qualification, testing, and installation activities is preferred.
• Experience in safety management, risk assessment, or industrial compliance environments is advantageous.
