Project Engineer (M&E)

Job Description

We are seeking a Project Engineer (M&E) to support the planning, coordination, and execution of mechanical and electrical projects. The candidate will work closely with the Project Manager, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and according to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in managing M&E project activities and site coordination.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of assigned works.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Review M&E drawings, specifications, and technical submissions.
• Coordinate shop drawings, material submissions, and site technical matters.
• Supervise M&E installation works and ensure compliance with approved drawings and method statements.
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks.
• Support testing, commissioning, and project handover activities.
• Prepare project documentation, progress reports, RFIs, inspection records, and other project-related documents.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety requirements and project specifications.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in M&E construction or building services projects.
• Knowledge of M&E systems, installation procedures, and construction practices.
• Familiar with AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
