Project Engineer (Mechanical Engineering)

Your duties shall cover but not restricted to the following:

• Provide technical expertise to support end-to-end project management, from tender estimation, project scoping, sub-contractor selection, drawing submissions, on-site project execution, to testing & commissioning and project handover
• Coordinate the procurement and delivery of materials and subcontractor services as per project plan
• Supervise and ensure ongoing works on-site are on track according to project schedule
• Prepare Shop Drawings for ACMV, Fire Protection services, and Combined Service Drawings (CSD) to facilitate effective site coordination with all project stakeholders
• Prepare Power Interruption Plan (PIP) for project involving live systems, including effective communication of work procedure to all project stakeholders
• Preparing project progress reports for director, consultants and clients
• Attend site surveys, coordination meetings with consultants, sub-contractors and any relevant authorities
• Prepare payment claims and variation orders for project contracts
• Provide emergency response for fault tracing and troubleshooting as and when required at client sites
• Ensure adherence to and enforce Bizsafe work safety methods, RA, MOS, procedures and policies regarding all site activities

Requirements

• Looking for a mechanical engineer to oversee ACMV installation in upcoming project in data center
• Hardworking and positive attitude, strong sense of responsibility, willingness to learn
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma with work experience in Singapore construction industry
• Good written and spoken English
• Candidates with prior working experience in the ACMV / cooling systems will have a strong advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Basic knowledge in Microsoft Project and CAD will be useful
