Project Engineer (PLC/SCADA)

About the role

This is a position with a leading Industrial Automation & SCADA Solutions Provider (System Integrator). The role involves managing preventive and corrective maintenance activities for PLC, SCADA, RTU, server, workstation, and network systems.

Key responsibilities

• Manage preventive and corrective maintenance activities for PLC, SCADA, RTU, server, workstation, and network systems.

• Perform system upgrades, firmware updates, patch management, database backup, and disaster recovery testing.

• Investigate and resolve system faults, alarms, communication issues, and equipment failures.

• Coordinate with customers, vendors, telecom providers, and internal teams to ensure timely issue resolution and SLA compliance.

• Support project implementation, testing, commissioning, and system enhancement works.

• Prepare technical documentation, method statements, risk assessments, testing reports, and handover documents.

• Conduct system health checks and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and performance.

• Participate in maintenance planning, project meetings, and technical discussions with stakeholders.
  

About you

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or related disciplines.

• Experience in PLC, SCADA, RTU, Industrial Control Systems (ICS), or automation projects.
