Project Engineer / Work Package Owner (Pharma Project)

About our client: Our client is a leading global pharmaceutical company.

About the role:

• Responsible for managing and coordinating assigned work packages related to warehouse systems, including Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV), freezer systems, weighing and dispensing systems, and logistics equipment.
• Manage assigned work packages throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring delivery according to scope, schedule, cost, quality, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with EPCM consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to monitor project progress and resolve issues.
• Support project planning, risk management, reporting, and escalation of project concerns.
• Review technical documentation, drawings, specifications, and ensure alignment with project requirements.
• Coordinate equipment installation, inspection activities, FAT/SAT, commissioning, qualification, and handover documentation.
• Support engineering studies such as FMEA, HAZOP, and risk assessments.
• Monitor supplier and contractor performance to ensure compliance with project standards.
• Ensure compliance with GMP/GEP, SHE, engineering standards, and regulatory requirements.

About you:

• Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering projects, package management, or project coordination.
• Experience managing equipment packages, contractors, vendors, or EPCM partners.
• Good understanding of project execution, installation, commissioning, and qualification activities.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, manufacturing, or regulated industries will be advantageous.
• Experience in pharmaceutical / biotech CAPEX projects.
• Knowledge of GMP/GEP requirements.
• Exposure to warehouse automation, AGV systems, cold storage/freezer systems, or dispensing systems.
