Project Safety Coordinator

Title: Project Safety Coordinator

Job Description and Responsibilities:

•   Be able to work in the cleanroom.

·       Coordinate and monitor all Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) activities at the project site.

·       Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify unsafe acts and conditions.

·       Ensure compliance with WSH regulations, project safety requirements, and company policies.

·       Organize and conduct toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and safety inductions.

·       Monitor the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by all personnel.

·       Assist in preparing and reviewing Risk Assessments (RA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP), and Method Statements.

·       Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.

·       Maintain safety records, inspection reports, permits, and other WSH documentation.

·       Coordinate with clients, subcontractors and project teams on safety matters.

·       Prepare regular safety reports and highlight safety performance to project management.

·       Promote a positive safety culture and continuous improvement in workplace safety.

Requirements

·       Diploma or Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health or a related discipline.

·       Relevant WSH certifications as required by local regulations.

·       Minimum 3~5 years of experience in construction or engineering projects.

·       Good knowledge of Singapore WSH legislation and industry best practices.
