Project Systems Engineer (Security & SCADA)

About the Role

We are seeking a Project Systems Engineer to support the implementation, maintenance, configuration, and enhancement of Security and SCADA systems. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams, customers, and technology partners to deliver projects in accordance with technical specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform installation, configuration, maintenance, and technical support for Security and SCADA systems.

• Configure and maintain servers, networking equipment, firewalls, storage systems, and system hardening in accordance with project and operational requirements.

• Support the implementation, testing, commissioning, and handover of system projects.

• Coordinate with customers, internal stakeholders, and technology principals to resolve technical issues and ensure successful project delivery.

• Perform hardware and software installation, upgrades, patches, and system enhancements.

• Prepare, update, and maintain system documentation, drawings, and technical records.

• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and site coordination to ensure timely completion of project milestones.

• Conduct system troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and corrective maintenance activities.

• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with company procedures, project requirements, and workplace safety standards.

• Provide technical support during system integration, testing, and commissioning activities.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Control Engineering, or a related discipline.

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in systems engineering, project implementation, or technical support.

• Hands-on experience with Security Systems and SCADA systems.

• Knowledge of FIDS, CCTV, and SCADA software and interface protocols.

• Familiarity with servers, networking, firewalls, storage systems, and cybersecurity hardening practices.

• Working knowledge of operating systems such as Windows, Unix, Linux, and OpenBSD.

• Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues effectively.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams.

• Willingness to travel to project sites within Singapore when required.
