Position: Solar Site Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Solar Site Engineer to oversee the execution of solar energy projects. The role involves managing on-site activities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and delivering projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Surveys: Conduct feasibility studies, shading analysis, and grid connection assessments.

• Design Validation: Ensure construction aligns with approved layouts and electrical codes.

• Installation Supervision: Oversee PV module, inverter, and cabling works with strict quality control.

• Safety Compliance: Implement risk assessments and enforce site safety protocols.

• Testing & Commissioning: Perform electrical tests, troubleshoot issues, and verify system performance.

• Reporting & Documentation: Maintain daily progress logs, prepare client-ready reports, and support project handover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy Engineering.

• 2–5 years of experience in solar project execution or site engineering.

• Strong knowledge of PV systems, inverters, and electrical codes (NEC/IEC).

• Proficiency in tools such as AutoCAD, MS Excel, and PVsyst.

• Excellent communication and team coordination skills.
