QA/QC Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated QA/QC Engineer with a strong background in architectural or structural works to manage site quality standards. You will oversee daily inspections, drive sub-contractor training, and manage quality assessment processes in line with corporate and statutory benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities

• Routine Site Inspections: Perform daily quality assurance and quality control checks across all active site works to ensure adherence to technical specifications and design plans.

• Performance Reporting: Compile, analyze, and present comprehensive monthly quality reports for submission to the Corporate QA/QC Department.

• Sub-contractor Enablement: Plan and lead monthly QA/QC training sessions for sub-contractors to maintain high workmanship standards and align site execution with project quality goals.

Requirements

Background: Hands-on professional experience in Architectural or Structural engineering.

Experience:

Minimum 3 years of experience as a QA/QC Engineer with an A1 main building contractor.

Proven track record in handling Quality Mark (QM) assessment processes or certifications is highly advantageous.

Certifications:

BCA-Approved CONQUAS Training certificate or relevant quality management qualification (e.g., ISO 9001:2015).

Core Skills:

Strong knowledge of local building standards, quality benchmarking, and structural/architectural finishing.

Excellent documentation, reporting, and communication skills to train and align site personnel.
