QC/Supplier Quality Engineer (ISO13485 Medical Devices Manufacturing)

We are working with a reputable multinational manufacturer to identify a Supplier Quality Engineer to join their regional supply chain management team. This is a key role that bridges suppliers and internal operations to drive quality excellence and ensure robust supply performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary liaison between operations and suppliers on quality-related matters
• Drive resolution of supplier quality issues, including CAPA review and follow-up
• Lead supplier audits and performance evaluations to ensure quality standards are met
• Collaborate with internal buyers to assess and onboard capable suppliers
• Support APQP process implementation and final part approval for assigned commodities
• Evaluate supplier quality systems and provide technical guidance to both suppliers and internal teams
• Ensure supplier capacity and quality systems align with divisional requirements
• Provide technical input during sourcing decisions from a quality standpoint
• Drive continuous improvement at supplier sites and support engineering projects as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering disciplines
• Min. 8 years of relevant experience in supplier quality or engineering
• Certified Internal Auditor for ISO 13485 is preferred
• Familiar with advanced SPC tools, APQP processes, and root cause analysis methodologies
• Experience managing contract manufacturer will be a plus
