Quality Control Engineer (Yishun)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Department: Quality Control Department

Reports to: Senior Quality Control Engineer

Functional Relationships with: Process Engineering, Machine Engineering, Production Control members, Quality Assurance Team, Industrial Engineering members, Production & etc.

Position Profile:
Based in: Yishun

Successful candidate will: This role offers exposure to automotive industry quality standards and the opportunity to drive quality improvements using smart technologies. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring product excellence and process reliability.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

·       Develop, implement, and maintain quality standards and requirements for product development and manufacturing processes.

·       Act as the primary quality assurance contact for departmental supervisors, supporting issue resolution, loss analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.

·       Promote and enforce quality standards, inspection protocols, testing methodologies, and documentation practices.

·       Prepare and present quality reports, highlighting trends, issues, and improvement opportunities to management.

·       Participate in internal and external quality audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.

Ability / Competency Required

·       Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field.

·       At least 1 year relevant experience is preferred.

·       Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

·       Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.

·       Knowledge of IATF 16949 standards is highly desirable.

·       A proactive and positive attitude, especially when facing challenges in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
