QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Conduct inspection of incoming, in-process and final inspection on machined parts, weldments and assemblies as per technical drawings, customer’s specifications and requirements through the use of various types of inspection equipment set up.
• Perform dimension check on parts, components and tools using micrometers, calipers, comparators, indicator, CMM & CREAFOAM.
• Perform visual, mechanical and functional check on components.
• Report non-compliance parts to QA Engineer.
• Performs visual and dimensional inspection of incoming and outgoing components/parts.
• Understand current specifications involving inspection tolerances, limitations, and procedures.
• Responsible for conducting inspection in accordance with approved technical data.

REQUIREMENT

• GCE ‘O’ / ‘A’ Level with minimum 2 year working experience or
• Diploma in Mechanical / Manufacturing / Quality Management with minimum 1 year working experience.
• Good interpersonal skill and ability to communicate with all levels.
• Good understanding of technical drawing.
• Familiar with all inspection methods and techniques.
• Basic understanding of General Dimension & Tolerance control.
• Proficient in the use of various types of inspection equipment and visual inspection aids.
