Quality Engineer (Tester, Manual)

About the Role

As a Quality Engineer (Manual Testing), you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, user-ready solutions. You will execute structured manual testing activities aligned with business requirements and user stories, helping to identify defects early and improve overall product reliability. This role offers the opportunity to build subject matter expertise while contributing to continuous quality improvement across delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute detailed manual test cases based on defined requirements, user stories, and expected outcomes

• Identify, document, and track defects clearly, working closely with delivery teams for timely resolution

• Analyze test results to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for quality improvement

• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including developers, business analysts, and project teams

• Participate actively in team discussions, providing insights and practical solutions to testing challenges

• Contribute to the enhancement of testing methodologies, tools, and quality standards

• Ensure all deliverables meet established quality benchmarks before release

• Share knowledge and insights with team members to strengthen overall project delivery

Required Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in Manual Testing practices and techniques

• Hands-on experience in Software Quality Assurance (SQA) processes

• Strong understanding of Application Quality Analysis and Quality Control (QC) principles

• Ability to design, execute, and maintain comprehensive test cases

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

• Effective communication skills to articulate defects and collaborate with stakeholders

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications (Optional)

• Experience working in Agile or iterative development environments

• Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools

• Ability to contribute to process improvement initiatives

• Exposure to risk-based testing approaches
