As a Quality Engineer specializing in Manual Testing, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable software solutions that meet business and user expectations. You will play a key role in validating application functionality, identifying defects early, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support successful project delivery.
• Execute detailed manual test cases to validate software functionality against requirements and user stories
• Design, document, and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and test data
• Identify, log, and track defects, ensuring clear communication with development teams for timely resolution
• Analyze test results to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improving product quality
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and expected outcomes
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and quality standards
• Participate actively in team discussions, providing insights and solutions to testing challenges
• Support knowledge sharing and contribute to building testing best practices within the team
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Proven experience in manual testing and software quality assurance
• Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and defect management processes
• Hands-on experience in writing and executing test cases and documenting test results
• Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios
• Good collaboration and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple testing activities
• Experience in Application Quality Analysis and Quality Control (QC) practices
• Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM)
• Exposure to Agile or Scrum methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
