Quantitative Trading & Web3 Systems Development Engineer

Responsibilities

1.      Develop, maintain, and optimize systems related to quantitative investment, including modules for strategy backtesting, live trading, and risk-control monitoring.

2.      Integrate withthe APIs of major cryptocurrency exchanges (Binance, OKX, Bybit, Coinbase,etc.) to implement market-data subscription, order management, account-data synchronization, and fund transfers.

3.      Integrate with brokerage account-opening and trading interfaces such as Longbridge, enabling onboarding-flow integration and connectivity for market-data and trading channels.

4.      Handle the localized deployment and adaptation of externally procured systems—covering environment setup, data migration, interface integration testing, and secondary development—to ensure stable production rollout.

5.      Participate in the design and implementation of Web3-related technical solutions, including on-chain data monitoring, smart-contract interaction, wallet integration, and DApp development.

6.      Write technical documentation, establish operations and maintenance standards, and continuously improve system performance and security.

Requirements

1.      Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, with 3+years of development experience.

2.      Familiarity with quantitative-investment business logic, and an understanding of common quantitative-strategy frameworks and backtesting mechanisms.

3.      Proficiency in at least one mainstream programming language (Python / Go / C++ / Rust), with experience developing high-concurrency, low-latency systems.

4.      Familiarity with the Web3 technology stack and blockchain fundamentals, with hands-on on-chain interaction experience on major public chains such as Ethereum and Solana.

5.      Practical project experience integrating with major cryptocurrency exchanges via REST / WebSocket/ FIX APIs, and familiarity with signature authentication, rate-limiting, and exception-retry mechanisms.

6.      Experience integrating with account-opening, trading, and market-data interfaces of Longbridge or other brokerages, and familiarity with OAuth, KYC flows, and compliance requirements.

7.      Experience with localized deployment of externally procured systems; able to independently handle Linux server configuration, Docker / K8s containerized deployment, database migration, and middleware tuning.

8.      Knowledge of network security and data compliance, with basic system operations and troubleshooting capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

•         Development experience at a quantitative hedge fund / private fund, brokerage, or on Web3projects.

•         Familiarity with DeFi protocols (Uniswap, Aave, Curve, etc.) and smart-contract development(Solidity / Rust).

•         Experience developing low-latency trading systems, high-frequency trading (HFT) systems, or market-data gateways.

•         Relevant certifications in finance or blockchain (e.g., CFA, blockchain engineer certifications).
