Quantity Surveyor (M&E)

Basic information: 

• Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
• Basic UP $4500
• Location: Kaki Bukit
• Bonus provided

Job Scope: 

• Prepare accurate cost estimates and project budgets based on technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and cost analysis for MEP systems, including ACMV, electrical, plumbing, and sanitary works.
• Monitor project costs, track variations, and implement cost-control and value engineering measures to enhance profitability.
• Prepare tender submissions and evaluate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers to support procurement processes.
• Administer MEP contracts, including variations, claims, and contractual compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify and assess project risks related to cost and contractual matters, and propose appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Prepare regular cost reports, forecasts, and financial analyses to support project and management decision-making.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and delivery.
• Ensure all MEP works comply with relevant regulations, codes, standards, and quality requirements.

Additional Information: 

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of Quantity Surveying experience in M&E works within the construction or commercial building sector.
• Strong technical knowledge of ACMV, electrical, plumbing, and sanitary systems.
• Detail-oriented with strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Able to work independently while contributing effectively in a team environment.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
