R&D Laboratory Assistant

Our client is a chemical specialty manufacturingcompany. They are currently seeking for R&D Laboratory Assistant. 

The role of the R&D Laboratory Assistant includes:

• Carry out assigned tasks related to the development of new research and development initiatives, including analytical and experimental work.
• Support the evaluation and approval process for new raw material sources as directed.
• Provide assistance to the production team in resolving quality-related issues.
• Contribute to process improvements or adjustments when requested by the production department.
• Maintain proper documentation by updating, organizing, and filing analysis reports and related records.
• Monitor and ensure adequate stock levels of laboratory consumables for daily operations.
• Assist in investigating product failures and customer complaints, including testing of submitted samples to support customer service efforts.
• Participate in the development of analytical methods, including coordination with external laboratories where necessary.
• Perform and uphold safety practices as well as general housekeeping within the laboratory.
• Take part in safety and health committee activities when required.
• Support sample preparation activities, ranging from small-scale to larger-scale requests from the sales team.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor from time to time.

Job Requirement:

• Degree/Diploma in Chemistry or equivalent study.
• No experience required.
