Regional Director of Technical Asset Management & Trading

Job Purpose

AerOne is seeking an entrepreneurial and highly connected Regional Director of Technical Sales, Asset Management & Trading. You will hold full P&L accountability for our mid-life narrowbody aircraft and engine acquisition strategy (A320ceo,B737-800, CFM56-5B/-7B). This is a high-impact, leadership role combining deal origination, commercial trading, and technical underwriting. You will build the asset trading division from the ground up, driving the full asset lifecyclefrom capital deployment to tear-down and lease-return execution.

Key Responsibilities

1. Deal Origination & Capital Deployment

• Pipeline Generation: Source off-market acquisition opportunities for A320/B737-800 aircraft and CFM56 engines from tier-1 lessors and airlines.
• Investor Relations: Structure and present business cases for Joint Ventures (JVs) with private equity funds and aviation investors.
• Portfolio Strategy: Formulate and execute the annual asset acquisition roadmap aligned with global USM demand.

2. Commercial Trading & Deal Execution

• Transaction Leadership: Lead commercial negotiations, LOIs, and final Asset Purchase Agreements (APAs).
• Asset Valuation: Build complex financial models assessing residual value, teardown yield projections, and overall project IRR.
• Remarketing: Drive global sales, exchange, or lease placement of whole aircraft, bare engines, and landing gear.

3. Technical Oversight & Transition Management

• Lease Transition Support: Oversee technical records audits, physical inspections, and delivery/redelivery processes for lease-in/return projects.
• Teardown Execution: Select and manage global teardown vendors, optimizing timelines for asset dismantling and component harvesting.
• Regulatory Compliance: Liaison with CAAT, FAA, and EASA to ensure seamless aircraft de-registration and export certifications.

4. Strategic Integration

• USM & Repair Flow: Coordinate with internal Repair Management teams to feed harvested components directly into AerOne's commercial sales pipeline.

Required Profile & Experience

• Experience: 15+ years in aircraft leasing, asset trading, or senior asset management within a lessor, airline, or top-tier MRO.
• Asset Expertise: Expert-level technical and commercial knowledge of A320ceo, B737NG, and CFM56-5B/-7B platforms.
• Track Record: Proven history of closing multi-million-dollar aircraft/engine transactions and managing successful part-out projects.
• Network: An extensive, active personal network at the C-suite and VP level across global leasing platforms and airline trading desks.
  Leadership: Strong executive presence, sharp contract negotiation skills, and a solid understanding of international aviation law
