Regional Enterprise Architect

Ensure that the digital & technology architecture and solutions across the APAC region are fit for purpose to drive & support the overall business strategy. Act as the senior architecture authority for the region, translating global vision into market-relevant roadmaps while fostering landscape simplification, platform reuse and technology modernization across all APAC OpCos.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the trusted Digital & Technology advisor for Regional, OpCo and market leadership teams across APAC, providing strategic architecture direction aligned to regional business priorities
• Contribute to the global architecture vision, strategies and frameworks; ensure global standards are adapted and contextualized for the APAC operating environment
• Translate global architecture strategies into actionable regional and OpCo implementation roadmaps, considering local regulatory, infrastructure and market maturity constraints
• Define and govern regional transition architectures for strategic programmes spanning APAC markets, managing cross-market dependencies and sequencing
• Work closely with the Global Architecture team to ensure architecture tools and frameworks are fit for purpose in the APAC context, feeding regional experience into global improvement roadmaps.
• Champion landscape simplification across APAC OpCos: lead solution capability mapping, rationalise local platforms, and reduce total cost of ownership and technology debt
• Provide an outside-in perspective on digital disruption and emerging technologies across APAC markets; advise regional and OpCo leadership on strategic response options
• Guide OpCo Digital & Technology teams on platform and product architecture decisions, embedding reuse, interoperability and scalability as core design principles
• Define and enforce architectural governance across the region in collaboration with IT Managers and OpCo Solution Architects; ensure adherence to guardrails, principles and standards
• Partner with the Regional Security & Risk Lead to ensure all roadmaps and solution architectures comply with security standards and local data regulation requirements
• Facilitate alignment between Global, Regional and OpCo stakeholders on digital migration plans, platform rollouts and programme delivery architecture
• Contribute architecture input to the evaluation, selection and onboarding of regional and local technology vendors and partners

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or Business Administration. TOGAF certification (or equivalent enterprise architecture framework) strongly preferred
• We are looking for a senior technology leader who combines deep enterprise architecture expertise with strong commercial acumen and proven APAC experience:
• 8+ years’ experience in technology, with at least 5 years in an Enterprise Architecture leadership role; demonstrated track record operating across multiple APAC markets at regional or global scope
• Deep knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, ArchiMate) and modern architecture patterns across cloud (Azure/AWS/GCP), data, integration and application domains; strong communication and collaboration skills, both towards senior stakeholders as well as product teams.
• Proven experience in data architecture, AI/ML platform governance and cloud-native design at enterprise scale; experience with SFA, distribution management, ERP or route-to-consumer platforms in FMCG or CPG is a strong advantage
• Demonstrated ability to influence capital allocation and technology investment decisions at senior leadership level; strong commercial acumen and risk management skills
• Proven ability to lead virtual architecture communities and deliver through influence in a matrixed, multicultural organisation spanning multiple time zones and regulatory environments
