Regional Key Account Manager (HVAC/ Data Center)

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned strategic key accounts across the APAC region.

• Develop, maintain, and expand long-term relationships with senior customer stakeholders and data centre consultants, positioning the company as a trusted technical advisor.

• Lead technical and system-level discussions to ensure proposed solutions are feasible, compliant, and aligned with customer requirements.

• Collaborate with Application Engineering teams to manage product selection, feasibility assessments, system design concepts, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) evaluations.

• Review customer specifications and ensure the accurate preparation of compliance matrices, deviation lists, and exception justifications.

• Coordinate technical communication and information flow among customers, consultants, sales teams, application engineers, and project management teams.

• Gather and communicate customer feedback, market intelligence, and project learnings to support continuous improvement initiatives.

• Identify business expansion opportunities within existing customer accounts and proactively engage relevant stakeholders.

• Provide technical support and expertise across solutions including Air Handling Units (AHU), CRAH/CRAC units, Chillers, and Building Management Systems (BMS).

• Travel regularly throughout the APAC region to support customer engagement and business development activities.

Requirements

• Strong technical and commercial acumen, with the ability to influence senior customer representatives and consulting stakeholders.

• Proven track record in managing large, strategically important accounts within complex technical environments.

• Sales-driven mindset with a practical, solution-oriented approach to balancing customer requirements, technical feasibility, and commercial objectives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in key account management, application engineering, technical sales, or solution consulting, preferably within data centre, HVAC, or mission-critical sectors.

• Demonstrated experience working with consultants and senior customer stakeholders across multiple geographic markets.
