Regional Process Technology Manager, APAC - Taste & Wellbeing

Reporting to Head of Operations Excellence APAC, Taste & Wellbeing

As an APAC Process Technology Manager based in Singapore, you will drive operations excellence by acting as the functional lead to APAC Process Technology organization, improving processes, strengthen global & regional standards, champion cross-functional collaboration.

In this exciting role, you will

Operational Excellence & Digital Transformation

• Improve regional Process Technology methodologies to enhance efficiency, safety, quality, and cost across new product and process introductions, ensuring first‑time‑right production
• Be the regional industrialization business partner, being resourceful and supporting cross-functional teams to navigate industrialization & commercialization process, and overcome roadblocks
• Collaborate with the Science & Technology and Regional Innovation team to ensure new innovations can be industrialized successfully into operations
• Support 'in the region for the region' (IRFR) supply chain initiatives, including engagement with other regions Process Technology community for manufacturing insights
• Support digital transformation journey—adopting AI tools, manufacturing analytics, and automation to advance capability and productivity.

Strategy Development

• Shape and deliver the Process Technology Excellence strategy with alignment to regional Operations Excellence & global Process Technology functional goals.
• Partner cross-functionally with regional and local Operations, Innovation, and Commercial to ensure Process Technology integrates seamlessly into broader business strategies.
• Enhance and expand bench‑to‑batch processes, applying insights from regional frameworks (e.g. 3B) and supporting local process technology teams to strengthen industrialization approaches

Continuous Improvement & Performance Monitoring

• Embed a culture of continuous improvement—using benchmarking, best practices, and integration of Process Technology standards into the Givaudan Production System.
• Define and monitor improvements metrics in regional standards, rules, and systems supporting product industrialization (e.g. NPIR evolution, manufacturing instructions, costing templates) and process optimization (e.g. yield & scrap).
• Conduct regular gap assessments versus internal standards and lead corrective action planning to enhance performance.
• Identify portfolio improvement opportunities, securing agreement and ensuring successful implementation.

Collaboration, Training & Capability Building

• Build a regional community of Process Technology experts, promoting collaboration across Manufacturing Excellence, Continuous Improvement, Quality, Regional Innovation, Creation & Application, Science & Technology, and regional teams.
• Promote knowledge sharing, capability development, and adoption of new technologies, ensuring talent readiness for future challenges within APAC Operations Excellence organization
• Provide technical consultancy and leadership to APAC Process Technology community
• Be a change leader, coaching teams to embrace learning and digital ways of working

Your professional profile includes

• Technical degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or Chemical Engineering
• At least 8 years of professional experience, with 3+ years in process technology or a related technical function
• Experience leading cross-functional programs involving technology integration, operational excellence, and digital transformation
• Project management expertise with applied methodologies and tools (Lean, Six Sigma, Change Management); as an advantage Lean Green Belt certification
• Experience in flavour, fragrance, or related complex manufacturing industries is advantageous
• Experience with industrialization processes, product lifecycle management, audits, and change management principles
• Digitally fluent, with demonstrated curiosity and drive to maximize digital solutions
