  • Edge processing hardware
  • Evaluate and integrate commercially available hardware technologies and sensors to extend system capabilities.

Localization& Customer Optimization

  • Collaborate with local engineering teams and customer stakeholders to adapt algorithms for regional and customer-specific operational environments.
  • Analyze customer datasets and deployment conditions to:
  • Optimize model performance
  • Improve false acceptance / false rejection metrics
  • Enhance operational usability
  • Support proof-of-concept (POC) projects, pilot deployments, and field validation activities.
  • Translate field feedback and operational insights into actionable R&D improvements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as a technical bridge between regional R&D teams and the Singapore innovation and delivery teams.
  • Work closely with product, engineering, and deployment teams to transition research outputs into deployable solutions.
  • Document research findings, technical evaluations, and implementation recommendations.
  • Contribute to technical roadmaps, innovation initiatives, and future product capabilities.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in core biometric technology research and development.
  • Expert understanding of multi-modal biometric technologies, including face, iris, and related biometric modalities.
  • Strong understanding of biometric system architectures, matching pipelines, and operational performance optimization.
  • Relevant qualification in Computer Vision, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
  • Strong experience in computer vision and biometric systems, particularly in applied biometric research and algorithm development.
  • Familiarity with image processing, sensor integration, and real-time processing systems.
  • Experience working with large datasets, model evaluation, and algorithm optimization.
  • Ability to work effectively across multicultural and geographically distributed teams.
