Job Scope

- Assist Lead Resident Engineer in daily close supervision and coordination duties.

- Inspect and supervise Contractors' works and tests to Approved Drawings and Specifications.

- Enforce specifications, national regulations, local Authorities' requirements, Singapore.

Standards and good practices.

- Attend site meetings and resolve technical issues with Contractors.

- Review and comment on Contractors' submissions and follow-up on comments closed out.

- Oversee inspection and special testing requirements and ensure coordination of those efforts on all contracts.

- Ensure inspection documentation fully complies with the local Authorities' requirements.

Requirements

- Degree in Civil Engineering.

- Registered as Resident Engineer with the Joint Accreditation Committee of the Institution of Engineers Singapore / Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore.

- At least 6-10 years of relevant experience in construction of large infrastructure project or waste/water management projects, particularly foundation piles, earth retaining or stabilizing structures, instrumentation & monitoring, ground improvement and soil investigation works.
