Resident Technical Officer, City Mains Rehab

We are looking for a Resident Technical Officer to work on City Water Mains Replacement and Diversion Project. 

Main duties: 

• Full time onsite supervision for construction works.
• Represent QP (Supervision) to perform the role as Qualified Site Supervisor.
• Book-keeping and administration of site records.
• Attend to pipe CCTV inspection, trial trenching works, test plans and commissioning works.
• Support in contract management and progress claims.
• Able to perform night works and on public holidays when required (off in-lieu).

To be a successful candidate, you shall possess: 

• Minimum Diploma or other suitable tertiary and engineering qualifications in Civil and/or Structural Engineering.
• Registration under the Joint Accreditation Committee (JAC) of the Institution of Engineers Singapore and the Institution of Engineers Singapore and the Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in supervision of pipe-laying, pipe jacking and pipe rehabilitation works of potable water pipes.

Other information:

• Working locations: Hillstreet Rd, Canning Rise, Tank Road, Sophia Road, Pearl’s Hill, Keppel Road, West Coas and Penjuru Road. 
• 44 working hours (5.5 days) per week
• 12 months fixed term (subject to renewal)
• The advertised salary is fixed all-in, with no additional gratuity nor project completion bonuses
