RF Engineer (4G/LTE Telecom Network)

•  Position: RF Engineer (4G/LTE | Telecom Network)
• Location: Bedok (10-minute walk from Bedok MRT)
• Working hours: 5 days a week - Monday to Friday (8:30am - 6pm)
• Salary (commensurate with experience): Gross up to $4,500 (Basic up to $4200 + $240 Standby Shift Allowance + Variable Bonus + 18 day Annual Leave + $600 Medical Leave
• Duration: 1 year contract, can be converted to permanent position
• Industry: Telecommunications

Main Responsibilities:

• Support 4G site rollout: survey, design, testing, commissioning & optimization
• Monitor project progress, timelines, and engineering activities
• Coordinate with contractors/suppliers to meet milestones
• Manage inventory and project materials
• Support tender preparation and technical proposals
• Troubleshoot and maintain 4G network performance (LTE, RF)
• Prepare reports, documentation, and presentations
• Perform standby duties for faults and major events

Requirements:

• Diploma in Telecommunications / Electronics or related
• At least 2 years experience in the maintenance of LTE mobile networks and working with 4G radio access technologies, antenna systems and RF network
• Class 3 driving license required
• Comfortable with site work (rooftops, tunnels, construction sites)
• Able to work overtime and standby (24/7 when required)
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese speaking clients who converse in Mandarin only
