RTO (Resident Technical Officer)

Responsibilities

• Inspect and monitor civil, structural, architectural, or M&E works daily to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications
• Verify contractor adherence to prevailing LTA regulations, quality standards, and approved Method Statements and Risk Assessments
• Maintain detailed daily site records including progress updates, weather conditions, manpower deployment, material deliveries, and site instructions
• Identify and report poor workmanship or defective materials, issuing rectification instructions to contractors promptly
• Assist Resident Engineers (REs) during site meetings and coordinate activities effectively with Resident Technical Officers (RTOs), contractors, and other stakeholders

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil, Structural, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of relevant on-site experience in LTA MRT or infrastructure projects
