Sales Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Sales Engineer with a mechanical engineering background to develop new business, conduct site visits, understand customer needs, and support projects from enquiry to completion.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities by engaging potential clients and understanding market needs
• Conduct site visits to perform on-site measurements and technical assessments to support project proposals
• Analyze customer requirements to recommend appropriate mechanical design and fabrication solutions
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure project specifications are met from enquiry through completion
• Manage project timelines and deliverables to achieve customer satisfaction and business targets
• Apply knowledge of mechanical engineering and fabrication processes to solve technical challenges in customer projects
• Work independently to meet sales targets while maintaining proactive communication with clients and stakeholders

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in mechanical engineering, fabrication, manufacturing, or related industries
• Basic knowledge of mechanical design and fabrication processes
• Experience in on-site measurement and technical sketching
• Valid Class 3 driving licence and own vehicle
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, industrial, cleanroom, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, or related industries
