Sales Engineer (Valve)

Key Responsibilities

• Drive sales and marketing activities for the company’s products in Singapore within the assigned industry or market sector, achieving sales targets through regular engagement with customers, consultants, owners, and site visits.

• Support product approval and certification processes by coordinating with manufacturing facilities and relevant testing or certification authorities.

• Review customer enquiries, specifications, technical requirements, commercial proposals, and engineering drawings to ensure compliance with project and client requirements, with support from the factory’s technical documentation and drawings.

• Deliver technical presentations and product briefings to consultants, end users, and contractors.

• Prepare and respond to both technical and commercial aspects of enquiries and quotations.

• Liaise with customers regarding product-related enquiries, investigate customer complaints in collaboration with the factory, and propose appropriate solutions.

• Monitor and coordinate sales activities, working closely with customers, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely project execution.

• Prepare monthly reports covering quotation status, orders secured, market intelligence, upcoming projects, industry trends, competitive activities, and recommendations for improvement.

• Represent the company at trade exhibitions, industry events, and related business functions.

• Submit weekly reports on sales activities, quotation progress, and order updates.

• Carry out any other duties assigned by management in support of business operations.

Requirements

• Minimum ITE qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or at least 1 year of relevant sales experience in a similar role.

• Experience in Water Treatment Plants, preferably with 3 or more years of industry exposure, is an advantage.

• Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings.

• Possession of a Class 3 driving licence is required; owning a vehicle is an added advantage.
