Sales Executive

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing customer relationships, and supporting the company's revenue growth objectives. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy interacting with customers, generating new business, and working in a fast-paced commercial environment.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and market research.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Generate leads and convert opportunities into sales revenue.

Customer Relationship Management

• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products and services.
• Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and customer meetings.
• Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

Sales Administration & Reporting

• Prepare quotations, proposals, and commercial documentation.
• Follow up on customer enquiries and sales opportunities in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities within the CRM system.
• Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management review.

Market Intelligence

• Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
• Gather customer feedback and provide insights to support business growth and product improvements.
• Attend industry exhibitions, conferences, and networking events when required.

Internal Coordination

• Work closely with operations, technical, and customer service teams to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate order processing, delivery schedules, and after-sales support activities.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Maritime Studies, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 1–3 years of sales, business development, or customer-facing experience.
• Experience within the maritime, logistics, engineering, offshore, or industrial sectors will be an advantage.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems.
• Willingness to travel for customer visits and business meetings when required.
