Sales Manager, Generator

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities by identifying and engaging potential customers, decision makers, and target accounts, including evaluating market strategies and deal requirements.

• Develop and progress sales pipelines through all stages to deal closure, ensuring accurate CRM and sales system data management.

• Collaborate with local, regional, and global teams to support deal closure through effective pitches, negotiation, and account strategies.

• Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with end customers, influencers, and contractors via direct engagement and distribution partners.

• Support development of budget forecasts, sales targets, and pricing/quotation strategies for the SEA market in coordination with Sales teams.

• Identify and support strategic partnerships and alliances to expand business reach and market opportunities.

• Provide frontline marketing and technical support to distribution partners and dealers.

• Analyze sales and market data to support management decision-making.

• Participate in trade events and industry associations, and support development of technical papers and marketing materials.

• Serve as a subject matter expert in power products, industry standards, and on-site power system design and integration.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with at least 8 years of relevant experience in power generation sales.

• Strong proven track record in both direct and channel sales.

• Excellent presentation and negotiation skills with senior executives and key stakeholders.

• Results-driven mindset with strong competitiveness and business acumen.

• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, able to work with stakeholders at all levels.
