About:
Our client are seeking a highly competent Senior Equipment Engineer / Equipment Engineer to join Etch Module team. Operating within our 8-inch wafer fabrication environment, you will take full ownership of sustaining, maintaining, and optimizing the performance of critical Metal Etch toolsets across key indices: Quality, Uptime, and Cost.
As a Senior/ Engineer, you will drive Continuous Improvement Programs (CIP), implement robust preventive maintenance, and serve as a technical mentor to elevate the team's capabilities.
Sustain and continuously improve equipment KPIs regarding quality, uptime, and maintenance costs. Serve as the technical expert for your respective machine specializations.
Plan, implement, and optimize effective Preventive Maintenance (PM) programs to maximize tool utilization. Document Corrective Actions and Best Known Methods (BKMs) to share across the module.
Monitor and analyze SPC charts using SPACE, utilize JMP for engineering experiments, and leverage measurement instruments effectively for data collection. Maintain a strict wafer scrap reduction awareness and mindset.
Generate FMEA analysis for new tools to identify hardware weaknesses and top risk factors. Conduct self-audits and update specifications to align with TS16949 Quality Standard requirements.
Coordinate new equipment engineering tasks from facilities hookup and vendor startup through to full production acceptance.
Manage spare parts logistics to prevent prolonged downtime and control allocated maintenance expenditures without compromising quality output.
Partner with Process and Manufacturing Engineers to meet module goals. For Senior candidates: Coach, mentor, and provide performance feedback to junior engineers and technicians.
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Microelectronics, Materials, or Material Sciences Engineering.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant equipment engineering experience within a semiconductor wafer fab. Hands-on experience with 8-inch (200mm) tools is highly preferred.
Deep technical competency in Metal Etch equipment, with hands-on maintenance experience utilizing: AMAT, DPSM/DSTI, and ASPEN systems.
Prior experience or familiarity with CAMSTAR/PROMIS (MES) DC OP, SPACE (SPC), and JMP software is highly advantageous.
