Senior / Field Service Engineer

If you are a Field Serviceprofessional looking to advance your career in the service space, Emerson hasan exciting role for you! Based in Singapore, the Field Service Engineer willbe in-charge of valve servicing in house and at customer sites inclusive ofsite walks and site implementation.

In this Role, YourResponsibilities Will Be:

·       Participates in site survey and siteimplementation for all valves relating initiatives.

·       Troubleshoots valves and control instrumentsissues at site for customers.

·       Works with customer service team to scheduleand prepare execution plan for service jobs.

·       Conducts valve repair work both in-house andat customers' site when required.

·       Works with other teams within Final ControlGroup to generates report for customers on root cause analysis.

·       Works with the business unit on customer'schallenges and derive solutions to solve other issues that they are facing.

·       Takes initiative to identify opportunities atsite to create Sales leads for Emerson products, services and solutions.

·       Takes initiative to sell maintenance contractsto customers.

·       Ensures compliance of workplace safety rules,including but not limited to the usage of a personal protective equipment, ifprovided to you, while working; not involve in any unsafe or negligent act thatmay endanger peers or oneself; reporting unsafe work conditions and providingsuggestions to improve safety/ health at work, as needed.

For This Role, You Will Need:

·       Good knowledge on control valves, on/offvalves, actuators and control and instrumentation.

·       Aggressive rapport building with customers,vendors, and internal associates.

·       A team player with strong problem-solvingskills and task oriented.

·       Able to travel on short notice.

·       Experience in a service operation ormaintenance (mechanical and electrical) is a plus.

·       Possess a Class 3 driving license would bepreferred.

Preferred Qualifications thatSet You Apart:

·       Diploma in Mechanical / InstrumentationEngineering with at least 4 years of related experience, preferably ininstrumentation, process or service industry

·       Experience in a service operation ormaintenance (mechanical and electrical) is a plus.
