Senior Frontend Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Frontend Engineer to build and scale high-quality web and mobile applications. You will work closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver seamless, performant, and user-centric experiences across platforms — and leverage the latest AI-assisted coding tools to ship faster and smarter.

Responsibilities

• Web development: Develop and maintain scalable web applications using React and TypeScript, applying best practices in component design, state management, and reusability.
• Mobile development: Build and deliver cross-platform mobile applications using React Native and/or Flutter, ensuring consistent experience across iOS and Android.
• UI implementation: Translate product and design requirements into clean, maintainable interfaces with responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and platform consistency.
• Performance optimization: Optimise load time, rendering efficiency, and scalability. Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and manage asynchronous data flows effectively.
• AI-assisted development: Leverage agentic coding tools (e.g. Claude Code, Copilot, Codex) to improve development efficiency, code quality, and delivery speed.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with designers, backend engineers, and product managers to deliver end-to-end features from requirements to production.

Requirements

• Experience: 3+ years in frontend development with a strong portfolio of shipped web and/or mobile products.
• Core stack: Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript (ES6+). Solid understanding of frontend architecture patterns including hooks, state management, and component-driven development.
• Mobile: Hands-on experience building mobile applications with React Native and/or Flutter.
• APIs & data: Comfortable working with RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL; experienced in handling asynchronous data flows.
• Testing: Familiar with frontend testing frameworks such as Jest, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Cloud & deployment: Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and modern CI/CD deployment workflows.
• AI tooling: Hands-on experience using AI-assisted or agentic coding tools (e.g. Claude Code, Copilot, Codex) in a professional development workflow.

Nice to have

Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. Experience with Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) environments within Singapore Government Agencies is a strong plus.
