Senior Infrastructure & Cyber Engineer

We are representing our client, a real estate conglomerate to look for an experience infra/cyber-security engineer to complement the existing team.This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, availability, and security of the company's IT environment, including servers, networks,cloud platforms, cybersecurity controls, endpoint management, and disaster recovery capabilities.

Responsibilities

IT Infrastructure Management:

• Administer and maintain enterprise infrastructure, including:  Windows Server environments (Active Directory and Group Policy, Virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.), Storage and backup systems, Network switches, firewalls, and wireless infrastructure)
• Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity planning
• Manage Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including: Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Entra ID (Azure AD)
• Support cloud infrastructure deployments and administration in Microsoft Azure.
• Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure-related incidents and provide timely resolution.

Cybersecurity Operations

• Implement and maintain cybersecurity controls, policies, and best practices.
• Monitor security alerts and respond to security incidents.
• Manage security technologies such as: Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Email Security Solutions, Vulnerability Management Tools
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation activities.
• Support penetration testing and audit activities.
• Perform security risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents, including malware, phishing, and unauthorized access attempts.

Network & Systems Security

• Configure and manage: Firewalls, VPN solutions, Network Access Controls, Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS),Secure remote access platforms
• Ensure secure network segmentation and access control implementation.
• Maintain endpoint security across desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.

Others

• Assist in developing and maintaining IT security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Support compliance initiatives related to:
• Participate in IT audits and regulatory reviews.
• Maintain security documentation and operational procedures.
• Participate in infrastructure and cybersecurity projects.
• Evaluate new technologies and provide recommendations.
• Support cloud migration and digital transformation initiatives.
• Work closely with external vendors, consultants, and managed service providers.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in IT Infrastructure and Cybersecurity.
• Proven experience managing enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure administration.
• Experience with cybersecurity operations and incident response.
• Experience supporting multi-site or global environments is advantageous.
• Relevant professional certifications are highly desirable. (Such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate, CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+, CCNA / CCNP, Fortinet NSE Certifications)
