Senior LNG Vessel Operations Executive (Shipowner Operations)

Job Responsibilities

LNG Voyage & Cargo Operations

• Coordinate LNG cargo operations including loading, discharge, vessel scheduling, voyage monitoring, and terminal interface activities.
• Monitor voyage progress, vessel positions, ETA/ETD updates, and operational readiness.
• Liaise closely with ship masters, ship management companies, terminals, agents, surveyors, and service providers.
• Support ship-to-shore communications and operational issue resolution during voyage execution.

Operational Monitoring & Documentation

• Monitor LNG operational parameters including boil-off gas management, heel quantities, cooldown and warmup readiness, and cargo transfer preparations.
• Prepare and maintain voyage documentation, Statements of Facts (SOF), Notice of Readiness (NOR), cargo documentation, and operational records.
• Ensure timely and accurate operational reporting to internal stakeholders.

Commercial & Cost Coordination

• Support voyage cost monitoring, accrual preparation, and invoice verification.
• Coordinate operational data required for demurrage, despatch, deviation, delay, and other shipping claims.
• Work closely with Trading, Finance, Risk, and Commercial teams to support cargo execution requirements.

Compliance & Marine Assurance

• Ensure vessel operations comply with company HSSE requirements and applicable maritime regulations.
• Support vetting processes, audit preparation, and marine assurance activities.
• Assist in incident reporting, investigations, and implementation of corrective actions where required.

Stakeholder Management

• Maintain effective relationships with terminals, agents, surveyors, ship managers, and service providers.
• Coordinate operational requirements with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth cargo execution.

Requirements

• Minimum Degree in Maritime Studies, Marine Engineering, Nautical Studies, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in LNG vessel operations, LNG shipping, tanker operations, marine operations, chartering operations, or related shipping functions.
• Familiarity with LNG cargo operations, terminal coordination, voyage execution, and shipping documentation.
• Working knowledge of maritime regulations including ISM, ISPS, SOLAS, and MARPOL is advantageous.
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment and manage multiple stakeholders.
