About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking an experienced semiconductor device engineering specialist to support advanced technology deployment, process integration, and manufacturing enablement activities across global semiconductor manufacturing partners.

This role will focus on advanced logic and RF technologies, supporting technology qualification, production ramp-up, and process transfer programs. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership across device engineering initiatives while working closely with foundries, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to ensure manufacturing readiness, yield performance, and product success.

Key Responsibilities

Advanced Device Technology Development

  • Provide technical leadership for advanced semiconductor device technologies with a focus on logic, RF, and next-generation process platforms.
  • Evaluate and qualify semiconductor process technologies to support new product development and manufacturing deployment.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure device performance, manufacturability, reliability, and production readiness objectives are achieved.
  • Support technology roadmaps through technical assessments, process evaluations, and development activities.

Technology Transfer & Manufacturing Enablement

  • Lead technology deployment and manufacturing transfer activities across internal and external production environments.
  • Support new technology introductions and production ramp-up programs to achieve operational and commercial objectives.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing partners to ensure successful process qualification and technology implementation.
  • Drive continuous improvements in manufacturing performance, process capability, and production stability.

Technical Leadership & Problem Solving

  • Provide expert guidance on semiconductor device behavior, process interactions, and performance optimization.
  • Analyze electrical, process, and yield data to identify improvement opportunities and resolve technical challenges.
  • Lead root cause investigations and corrective action initiatives involving device performance and manufacturing issues.
  • Develop technical recommendations and strategies to improve product quality, yield, and operational efficiency.

Stakeholder & Foundry Management

  • Serve as a key technical interface between internal engineering organizations and external manufacturing partners.
  • Influence strategic decisions involving technology deployment, process integration, and manufacturing readiness.
  • Facilitate technical reviews and communicate complex engineering concepts to cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Support collaborative relationships with foundries and strategic technology partners.

Program Leadership

  • Lead cross-functional engineering projects involving technology qualification, process migration, and product industrialization.
  • Manage technical risks, project schedules, and resource planning activities.
  • Ensure projects are delivered according to agreed objectives, timelines, and business priorities.
  • Provide regular technical updates and recommendations to senior leadership teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Semiconductor Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of semiconductor industry experience with strong expertise in advanced device technologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of semiconductor device physics and transistor behavior.
  • Hands-on experience supporting advanced logic and RF semiconductor technologies.
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, process integration, and technology qualification methodologies.
  • Experience supporting technology transfers, process migration projects, or manufacturing ramp-up activities.
  • Proven ability to analyze electrical performance data, yield trends, and manufacturing metrics.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to influence technical decisions across multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with FinFET technologies and advanced transistor architectures.
  • Knowledge of High-K Metal Gate (HKMG) process technologies.
  • Experience working with external foundries or semiconductor manufacturing partners.
  • Familiarity with advanced node technology development and process optimization.
  • Exposure to RF device technologies, mixed-signal products, or advanced logic platforms.
  • Mandarin language proficiency would be advantageous for collaboration with regional manufacturing partners.
